Road Closings
Albanese Bros. will be performing infrared paving repairs on Andover Street / Rte. 133 near the Holiday Inn entrance and on Main Street / Rte. 38 near the intersection with Victor Drive on Monday, August 30. This work will be performed between 9 AM – 3 PM per MassDOT permit requirements. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained at all times on the work area. Message boards and R-911’s have been sent out notifying nearby residents of the impending work. This work is expected to be completed in one day.
On Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 paving operations will begin on the following streets and work will occur in the order as follows; Fieldstone Circle, Alison Way, Mississippi Rd at South St., Brown St. at Nichols St, and Ruby's Way at Wolcott St.
The road will be closed to all traffic during the placement of the hot mix asphalt until it has sufficiently cooled. Work hours will be at 7AM to 4 PM. This work is weather pending if it should rain the work will commence on the next day. Expect delays while road the road paving is ongoing. Please follow detour signs. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through the work area. All residents must move their vehicles off the road by the time indicated. Please make arrangements to exit your home prior to the paving crew reaching your home or the intersection of the road you live on. On Wednesday July 14th, 2010 road reclamation and reconstruction operations will begin on Shawsheen Street from the intersection of Whipple Road to the intersection of Sullivan Parkway, and continue through Friday July 16th, 2010. The road will be closed to all traffic between the hours 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or until the road has cooled sufficiently to drive on it. Please follow detour signs. Road construction has begun on East Street from Main Street to Lee Street. The road will be closed to all traffic between the hours of 12:30 PM to 4 PM on Monday, June 14 and Tuesday June 15. Beginning Wednesday June 16 thru Wednesday June 23, the road will be closed to all traffic between 7 AM and 4 PM. Traffic heading to North Street will be detoured via Main Street to Chandler Street to Livingston Street and back to North Street. Traffic heading to East Street will be detoured via Main Street to Chandler Street and back to East Street. Expect delays while road construction is ongoing.
