Repair to damaged mailboxes, located within the Town’s right-of-way, will be completed if determined to have been hit by a truck/plow. Damage to posts and boxes due to snow throw or wood decay will not be repaired.
The replacement policy for the DPW is to install a standard wooden post (if needed) and/or replace the mailbox with a standard aluminum box. The resident may opt to be reimbursed up to $30.00 upon submission of a sales receipt.
